1. Who we are

This website is operated by Pressure and Flow Control Industries, the maker of PRECON® tank safety equipment, at 823 GIDC Industrial Estate, Makarpura, Vadodara 390 010, Gujarat, India ("PRECON", "we", "us"). For any privacy question, write to info@preconvalves.com.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Contact form: name, company, email, phone number and your message.
• Quote request: name, company, email, phone, country, the products you are interested in, and the technical details you choose to share (size, pressure/vacuum setting, media, quantity, required-by date and requirement details).
• Distributor application: name, company, email, phone, country, type of business, the markets you cover, years in business, product lines you carry, and the introduction you write.
• Catalogue download: name, company, email, country, your role, and your consent to receive product information from us.
• Phone, email and WhatsApp: whatever you tell us when you call or write to us directly. If you message us on WhatsApp, we receive your phone number and your message, and WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies to that conversation.

Information collected automatically

Google Analytics records how the site is used for every visitor: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, referring site, and events such as clicking the WhatsApp button. If you decline cookies, this is done without cookies, so your visits are counted but not linked together. If you accept, Google Analytics uses cookies to recognise repeat visits, and Microsoft Clarity also records clicks, scrolling and session replays. Their providers process your IP address to deliver the service. We do not use this to identify you personally.

While you browse, your browser also remembers for that session how you arrived (for example a campaign link, a website that linked to us, or typing the address) and the first page you saw. This is cleared when you close the tab, and is sent to us only if you submit a form, so we can see what prompted your enquiry.

3. How we use it

• To reply to enquiries and prepare quotations.
• To email you an automatic confirmation, with a reference number, when you send us a request.
• To keep a record of each enquiry and its follow-up status in our internal register.
• To send the catalogues you request and, where you agreed, product information and updates.
• To understand how the website is used and improve it.
• To keep the website secure and prevent spam and abuse.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to run the site and handle your information on our behalf:

• Hostinger — hosts this website and our company email.
• Cloudflare — receives and processes form submissions on our behalf.
• Resend — delivers form submissions to our team by email.
• Brevo — stores catalogue sign-ups and sends our product updates.
• Google (Analytics, Fonts) — measures site usage (without cookies unless you accept) and serves the site font.
• Google (Sheets) — holds our internal enquiry register, so each enquiry can be followed up by our team.
• Microsoft (Clarity) — provides usage analytics, heatmaps and session replays, only if you accept cookies.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics — counts visits and page views without cookies or personal profiles, for every visitor.

Some of these providers process data outside India. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. This website does not use cookies for advertising. The analytics cookies below are only set, and Microsoft Clarity only runs, after you accept them in the cookie banner. Google Analytics still counts page views without cookies if you decline.

The site font is loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google's servers (and shares your IP address with them) when a page loads.

Managing cookies

• You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings (also in the footer of every page). Declining or withdrawing consent removes the analytics cookies.
• You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works fine without them.
• Google provides a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics.

6. Chat assistant

The PRECON® assistant runs in your browser and answers from information already on this website. Your messages are not stored and are not sent to us. We only record the general category of a question (for example "certifications") in analytics, never the text you typed.

7. How long we keep information

We keep enquiry and quotation correspondence for as long as needed to respond and maintain our business records. Catalogue subscribers stay on our mailing list until they unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept according to the settings of the analytics providers.

8. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw your consent to marketing emails at any time, using the unsubscribe link in any email or by writing to info@preconvalves.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.

9. Security

The site is served over HTTPS and forms are sent to our systems over encrypted connections. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

This website is intended for business users and is not directed at children.

11. Changes to this policy
