Overview

Where space, weight, or installed cost is a constraint, a combined unit integrates a breather valve and a flame arrester into a single housing. It delivers both protections — pressure/vacuum relief and flame propagation resistance — through one nozzle connection instead of two separate in-line devices.

How it works

Vapor first passes through the PVRV pallet assembly for pressure/vacuum relief, then through an integrated arrester element before reaching atmosphere (or the reverse path for flame protection on inflow), so both functions are satisfied without stacking two full-size devices on the nozzle.

Applications

  • Tank farms with limited nozzle or roof space
  • Retrofits replacing separate PVRV + arrester setups
  • New tank designs optimizing installed cost
