Oil Refineries
Refinery tank farms hold crude oil, intermediates and finished products in atmospheric and low-pressure tanks. Every temperature swing, fill and withdrawal changes the pressure or vacuum inside a tank, and each tank needs a controlled way to breathe.
PRECON® tank safety equipment is made for this duty: pressure/vacuum relief to protect the tank shell, flame arresters where flammable vapours vent, and emergency relief for abnormal events such as fire exposure.
